The St. Vincent Ferrer Book Club offers an invitation to parishioners interested in reading and discussing a religious book (fiction/nonfiction) by a variety of authors who inspire, teach, and encourage the readers to be better Catholics by the examples of their lives and/or the lives of the saints.
The SVF Book Club’s July choice is … “The Ear of the Heart,” by Mother Dolores Hart O.S.B. and the book is available for free through Formed (see additional lending and purchasing options below).
Join us for a lively discussion over lunch on Friday, July 27th at noon in St. Peter’s House.
DOLORES HART stunned Hollywood in 1963, when after ten highly successful feature films, she chose to enter a contemplative monastery. Now, fifty years later, Mother Dolores gives this fascinating account of her life, with co-author and life-long friend, Richard DeNeut.
To sign up, call 561-665-8566 or email [email protected]. There is no requirement to finish the book or even start it to join us for discussion!
