The Guatemala Mission is organized by the Knights of Columbus and St. Vincent Ferrer as a way to bridge the gap of two different worlds and provide service in the name of the God and humanity.

Every year a group of men go to the small community of Ak'Tenamit, in the rain forests of Eastern Guatemala, and help with anything they need done. Over the years, we have helped build schools, dorms, hospitals, and cafeterias. We have also aided doctors in the clinic, set up internet networks for the library, screened in dorm rooms, and painted the younger kids school house. You name it we've done it, and there is ALWAYS so much more to do.

There is no work experience or language expertise to help contribute to the mission. The only thing you'll need is a caring heart and be motivated to help very worthy cause.

The Guatemala Mission usually take place in mid-July, so if you are interested in attending, would like more information, or would like to donate supplies or money. Please contact us at
